Our customer, a top US retail chain, wanted on-premise Teradata and Hadoop data warehouse migration to the Google Cloud Platform.
Solutions
Datametica provided solutions by establishing the new GCP foundation including Solution system Architecture, Cloud Provisioning (DevOps), Security, Governance, Data Architecture and CI/CD pipeline.
It was followed by data model migration, application migration, automated code conversion/optimization via Raven – Automated Workload Conversion Tool and accurate cell level data validation between source and target source system by using Pelican – Automated Data Validation Tool.
